The handbook was blocked by a decision of the Angarsk City Court of the Irkutsk Region in a lawsuit filed by Roskomnadzor. According to the agency, the information posted on the website is prohibited for distribution on the territory of our country.
Telkniga.com was the first online directory and personal data site that was included in the registry of prohibited information. Other similar sites that were previously issued warnings by Roskomnadzor, promptly deleted all illegal information.
This blocking is the first step towards the implementation of the law on personal data, the amendments to which were adopted last week. The law has become noticeably tougher - from now on, all foreign companies are required to keep personal data about their users in Russia.
