Some people are simply born to expand the limits of human stupidity. Criminal James Leskovich - one of them. After all, the story of how he fell into the hands of justice is ridiculous to ugliness.
American tabloid The Times Leader published a funny story about how an ordinary criminal published a photo “WANTED” with his face, which he downloaded from the website of the police department, on his personal page on the social networking site Facebook. He was arrested exactly one hour after that.
The police department of the city of Freeland (Pennsylvania) regularly publishes photographs of wanted criminals on its website. In English, such photos are called “mugshot” - a snapshot of the arrested, taken at the police station immediately after the arrest. Next to the pictures, the police publishes an appeal to the local residents, asking them for help in locating the criminals.
James Leskovich, having found his photo in the section “The police are looking for them,” immediately downloaded it to his computer and published the photo on his personal page on Facebook. For more convincing, he still gave a prank to the local police and even noted in the picture the page of the police station Freeland, so that the servants of the law could appreciate his amazing humor as soon as possible.

The police appreciated the joke and immediately created a fake page of some attractive young girl, on whose behalf they entered into intimate correspondence with the criminal. Being a man close and creepy on female attention, James quickly agreed to meet with a fan of his criminal genius and set up a meeting place in the city. About half an hour later, handcuffs were snapping at his wrists.
One may laugh at the hapless felon as much as you like, but after all such cases occur more and more often. Social networks, coupled with the human desire for self-affirmation, quickly do their job. The criminals boast of stolen good on the Internet, after which they immediately fall behind bars. But it would seem that it can be easier: sit and do not hang out and you will be happy. But people tend to look for adventures on the fifth point of support, and unfortunately, nothing can be done about it. This is how social networks stand guard over the order and help the police fight crime.
